Personal care
Respectful, discreet assistance with the personal tasks of daily life, delivered in your own home, your way.
Care that starts with dignity
Personal care is some of the most intimate support a person can receive, and we treat it that way. At Rehoboth, our support workers provide compassionate assistance in the comfort of your own home, helping you live independently, confidently and with dignity. We take time to understand your routines, preferences and goals, so the support you receive feels personal rather than clinical.
Personal care is part of our broader in-home support service, so it can sit alongside household assistance, meal preparation and companionship in one consistent arrangement.
What we can help with
Our personal care support is tailored to your needs and can include:
- Showering and bathing, safe, unhurried assistance with washing.
- Dressing and grooming, help getting dressed and looking and feeling your best.
- Toileting and continence care, discreet, respectful support managed with sensitivity.
- Mobility and transfers, assistance moving safely around the home, including from bed to wheelchair, with a focus on fall prevention.
- Medication prompts, gentle reminders to help you manage your medication safely.
- Meal support, help with eating and drinking, and healthy, personalised meal preparation.
A dignity-first approach
Our support staff are highly trained in providing in-home care and assisting with daily living activities. Just as importantly, they understand that trust is earned through consistent, reliable service. That means knocking before entering, explaining what they are doing, respecting your privacy and your choices, and valuing the cultural background of every person we support.
Whether you need daily assistance or occasional support, our experienced team is here to help you live life your way, with comfort, respect and peace of mind.
Who personal care helps
We support NDIS participants across VIC, NSW and QLD living with a wide range of disabilities, including intellectual disability, acquired brain injury, autism, spinal injury, psychosocial disability, physical and sensory disability, younger onset dementia and degenerative conditions.
Personal care can make every day easier if getting ready in the morning is exhausting, if you need a steady hand to move safely around your home, or if a family carer needs reliable help with the tasks that matter most. For other ways we can support you at home, see our disability services.
