Funding options
Understand how NDIS funding is grouped, the three ways your plan can be managed, and how Rehoboth supports can be paid for, through the NDIS or privately.
How NDIS funding is grouped
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a government-funded program that gives people with disability greater choice and control over the supports they receive. An NDIS plan is built around your goals, support needs and circumstances, and the funding in it is usually grouped into three categories:
- Core Supports, funding for everyday support needs, such as assistance at home, community participation and transport.
- Capacity Building Supports, funding that helps you build skills and independence, including supports such as support coordination.
- Capital Supports, funding for assistive technology and home modifications.

Three ways to manage your NDIS plan
Every participant chooses how the funding in their plan is managed. Rehoboth is an NDIS registered provider (Provider Number 4050134271), so we can support you under any of the three arrangements:
- Agency-managed, the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) pays registered providers like Rehoboth directly on your behalf.
- Plan-managed, a registered plan management provider manages the funding and budget for the supports in your plan and pays provider invoices for you.
- Self-managed, you manage your own funding and claim from the NDIA yourself, with the widest choice of providers.
Not sure which arrangement applies to you? It is set out in your NDIS plan, or get in touch and we will help you work it out.
