Mental health & psychosocial support
Recovery-oriented, person-centred support that helps you build routine, confidence and connection with your community.
Support for people living with psychosocial disability
A psychosocial disability can affect how you manage daily life, relationships and being part of your community. At Rehoboth, our psychosocial supports are centred on creating a person-centred environment that fosters wellbeing, recovery and community connection.
We take a recovery-oriented approach. Every journey starts with listening to you and understanding what truly matters, so your support reflects your values, your goals and the way you want to live. Our mission is to create a caring environment where people and families feel heard, supported and empowered to live life their way. Psychosocial disability is one of the many disability types we support across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
Mental health mentors and recovery coaches
Our team includes mental health mentors and recovery coaches who walk alongside you on your recovery journey.
- Mental health mentors provide regular one-to-one support to help you develop coping strategies, build confidence and work steadily towards the goals in your NDIS plan.
- Recovery coaches help you make sense of your supports, plan your days and weeks, and build the skills and motivation to manage life's ups and downs.
These supports can sit alongside our other services, such as in-home support and our wider disability services. You can get started by contacting our team or making a referral for yourself or someone you support.
Building routine, confidence and community connection
Recovery often grows from everyday things: a steady routine, small wins, and feeling connected to the people and places around you. Our support workers help you to:
- Establish and keep daily routines that work for you
- Build confidence in everyday tasks, at home and out in the community
- Explore new experiences, connect with others and take part in community life through our community participation supports
Support is flexible and tailored, we adapt to your lifestyle and goals, so your support fits your way of living and can change as your needs change.
If you need urgent help
Rehoboth is not a crisis service. If you or someone you know needs urgent support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In an emergency, always call 000.
